I attended CHICO State University. (AKA, The best school ever)

This is my 24th year, all at the same middle school.  

I am hecka stoked that my district spent the money to get this program.  Looking forward to using it, to improve my fitness; as well as, my students’.

I teach at Raton High School in Raton, New Mexico  I also am the head football coach.

 

I have been teaching since 2005, I started out as a special education teacher and switched over as the      physical education teacher since 2014.  I started coaching football in 2004 as assistant and became       the head coach in 2014.

 

 Do not become a teacher or a coach because in the year 2020 there is gonna be this pandemic and things are gonna change lol!!!   I know you love the game but study a trade or get into the oil and gas field!

Hey PLT4M Community!

  2. I have coached at the collegiate and HS level, and am currently coaching Football at Wayland High outside of Boston
  3. This will be my 10th year coaching
  4. The advice I would give my younger coaching self would be to constantly seek out new ideas, never attach yourself to things that have worked in the past simply because they worked in the past, and to understand that every student/athlete is different, and consequently, must be coached differently.

Hey All, Jackie Wogan here!

 

I've been a part of the PLT4M family since 2017. I began working with PLT4M by shooting demonstration videos with the performance team. Eventually I transitioned into a full time role leading customer success! 

 

Through my interactions with the many great customers here at PLT4M, I'm constantly hearing where teachers and coaches may be struggling, and also where they're having great success. My goal is to foster a community in which we can leverage our network of coaches and teachers to help us all evolve as educators.  My self advice: always remain coachable!

  2. I teach 7th and 8th grade PE and martial arts to kids and adults.
  3. I have been teaching PE and martial arts for 21 years.

A black belt is a white belt who never gave up; Failures help you learn, so never give up;  Use people who who don’t believe in you as motivation for success; Need to take chances in life to find out what you love and makes you happy;  Attitude is everything!; Good things happen to good people!;  Find balance in everything (Yin & Yang); Don’t be afraid to ask for help!;  Breathe!

I teach kindergarten, and I am the head girls basketball coach at New London Local Schools in Ohio. Home of the Wildcats!

I have been coaching basketball now for 16 years, and this is my ninth season as Head Girls Coach.

Whatever you choose to do, make sure you do it with no regrets!! There is nothing like high school sports!

  2. I teach Physical Education/Health/Athletic Performance at Crocker Middle School in CA. Until 2019, I coached HS football in my area since 1999. I have had the opportunity to coach some fabulous teams and players!
  3. This is my 16th year teaching and 15th at Crocker. Coaching in one capacity or another since 1999 so 22 years?! Wow. 
  4. Teaching - A.B.L. Always Be Learning and have fun with it 🙂. Coaching - Surround yourself with good people, always try to learn from the best, get on a good staff, the grass is NOT always greener, you aren’t doing it for the money so make sure you are in a good environment where it is great going to work, start Jiu Jitsu @ 25 instead of 35!

Hi!  My name is Heidi.

I teach HS PE- my tracks are Personal Fitness and Mind Body Wellness (a class I created)

This is my 23rd year of teaching in the Greece Central School District--I spent the first part of my career at the 3-5 level and have been at the HS the last 6 and LOVE it!

I have never coached a sport but I do work with athletic teams doing Yoga and Mental skills training.

To my younger self:  Breathe--it will all work out!

Hello, my name Bill Hauswirth,

I have been teaching for 32 years and have coached football, hockey, track & golf over all those years. I am now teaching in a virtual setting and am trying to find a way to best use PLT4M for my students. This is the first year of having a PLT4M class. It is a very small class. We are hoping to grow it. In the past years we have used it as a supplement. Any ideas and tips would be welcomed.
