What Data Do I Track and How?
When it comes to data tracking through PLT4M, there are a myriad of factors to consider:
- Will you allow your athletes and students to enter and update their own data?
- Are you using PLT4M programs? If so, are they Intro (100/200s) or Advanced (300/400's)?
First, we recommend opening your settings and giving your kids the ability to enter and update their information. It provides a great sense of ownership for them, not to mention, saves you a lot of time!
Second, for ALL of our programs, the most consistently tracked Fitness Metrics are as follows:
- 1 Mile
- Burpee Max: 2 Mins
- Push up Max
- Pull Up Max
- Squat Therapy
- PLT4M MetCon Test
For any Weight based program, like 301b, or all the 311 options, we require Squat, Bench, and Clean maxes. We evaluate these weekly using worksets (see video) to provide more frequent assessments of students and athletes, and ensure their training is always properly optimized.
